Kharkiv has received two passenger buses from the Finnish city of Turku. The transport was provided as aid to the twin city to enhance public transport. This was reported by the Kharkiv City Council.
The buses were manufactured by the Swedish company Scania. Previously, they operated on passenger routes in Turku and have retained the signature coloring of the Finnish city.

Kharkiv received two buses that were previously used for passenger transportation in Finland. The city council noted that the transport will be further used for passenger transport in Kharkiv.

Kharkiv and Turku officially became twin cities on August 25, 2022. The transfer of two buses took place as part of the cooperation between the Ukrainian and Finnish cities.
The received transport is intended to replenish the fleet of public transport in Kharkiv, which continues to operate under conditions of full-scale war and regular Russian attacks.
