Russian troops carried out strikes in the Kharkiv region, targeting the Novovodolazka and Merefa communities, as well as the Krasnokutsk community of the Bohodukhiv district and the Velykoburlutsk community of the Kupiansk district.
As a result of the shelling in the Novovodolazkyi district, a gas station was damaged, causing a fire. The premises and vehicles caught fire, and according to preliminary reports, 6 people were injured. In the city of Merefa, a residential building also caught fire, where one person was injured.
Rescue workers and pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were working at the scene.
Russian troops attacked several populated areas in the Kharkiv region, leading to fires and casualties. The events are currently being considered in the context of the overall conflict in eastern Ukraine.
