A terrible tragedy occurred in the Kharkiv region, where a Russian rocket strike on the city of Berestyn led to the death of a 17-year-old girl and injuries to at least 10 people. As a result of this attack, civilian infrastructure, private and multi-storey buildings, as well as administrative facilities were damaged. Rescuers quickly extinguished two fires that broke out as a result of the strike.
Operational units of the State Emergency Service, including pyrotechnics and volunteer rescuers, were involved in eliminating the consequences of the enemy shelling.
This horrific event is yet another confirmation of the need for a peaceful resolution of the conflict and reconciliation of the parties to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
