Kharkiv rescuers honored 8-year-old boy Artem, who saved himself and his grandmother during a fire. The little hero showed that knowledge, courage, and determination can save lives in dangerous moments.
The fire broke out on November 18 in their apartment, but Artem was not lost — he called the rescuers, gave the address, and reported that his grandmother, who needed help, was still in the apartment. Thanks to his timely response, the State Emergency Service rescuers arrived quickly and saved both of them.
Excursion for the hero
Artem's feat did not leave even the rescuers indifferent. They invited him to the fire station and organized an interesting excursion for the little hero. The boy saw the special equipment, visited the service rooms, and even extinguished fire with a fire hose. At the end of the visit, he was greeted with sweets.
