Hasidim in Uman played the national anthem of Ukraine
Leaders of Hasidic communities gathered in the city of Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, a group of Hasidim, approximately 35 thousand people, performed the national anthem of Ukraine, which happened in a viral video on social media, reports Glavcom.
The video shows that the Hasidim gathered in a group, and one of them played the national anthem of Ukraine on a trumpet. During the performance, one of the Hasidim began to shout 'Glory to Ukraine' and express opinions about the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. It is worth noting that these are not isolated incidents.

Preparation for the celebration
According to the community's estimates, up to 38 thousand Hasidic pilgrims are expected to arrive in the city at the beginning of the celebration. Cherkasy police are preparing for the arrival of pilgrims and are conducting joint patrolling with the National Guard to explain the rules to the pilgrims.

Rosh Hashanah is the most important holiday in Jewish tradition, celebrated in honor of the creation of the world. This year it is celebrated from September 22 to 24. Ukraine and Israel have developed a joint security plan for the pilgrims arriving in Uman for the celebration of Rosh Hashanah.
