Olha Kharlan: how the legend of fencing inspires a new generation of athletes

On the First Channel of Public Broadcasting, the documentary film "I Want to Be Like Kharlan" is airing, which tells the story of two athletes. The film examines key moments in the career of the famous fencer Olha Kharlan and the initial steps of young Ania Losieva, who started her journey from a small town in Kirovohrad region.



The film shows how experience is passed from famous athletes to beginners, how character, strength, and faith in one's own abilities are formed. The program will air on the First Channel of Public Broadcasting according to the following schedule: November 28 at 22:00 — premiere; November 30 at 13:00 — rerun. Also, starting from December 7 at 13:00, the film will be available on the YouTube channel Public Documentary.
