By the end of 2025, the highest average salaries in Ukraine remain in the defense sector and construction, while the fastest growing incomes are in the services sector. These conclusions were made by labor market analysts based on current vacancies. Novyny.LIVE reports on this.
Highest salaries in Ukraine by the end of 2025
According to the OLX Work job portal, the highest average salary was recorded among representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fall of 2025 - 70.5 thousand UAH. This refers to contract vacancies for communicators, drone operators, mechanics, and shooters.
The construction industry follows in terms of salary:

facade workers - about 52.5 thousand UAH;

plasterers - 50 thousand UAH;

foremen and stonemasons - 45 thousand UAH;

tilers - 41 thousand UAH.
Salary growth in 2025: where incomes increased the fastest
Slightly lower average salaries are held by workers at car service stations and car washes. Body repairers earn an average of 48.5 thousand UAH, auto electricians and car painters about 40 thousand UAH, while welders, fitters, auto mechanics, and technicians earn approximately 35 thousand UAH. Incomes of supervisors in trade and dentists are at the same level.
Salary growth was most active during the year in the services and trade sectors. Significant increases were recorded:

for cooks working abroad - almost 360%;

for brokers - by 100%, to 50 thousand UAH;

for packers and foremen - by 28-30%.
The retail trade and hotel-restaurant business also showed dynamic income growth. This is attributed to a shortage of labor and a general revival of the labor market at the end of the year.
