Svetlana Rudyakova's Difficult Journey

Artist from Kyiv, Svetlana Rudyakova, shared her experience of a challenging journey from Germany to Ukraine that lasted 48 hours. Her path was complicated by snowfall, traffic jams, and queues at the border. Svetlana left for Germany on the eve of the New Year, and returning home became a real test.

Challenges Along the Way

The return journey to Kyiv took 48 hours, with about two hours spent crossing the border with Poland. During the trip, Svetlana was stuck at the Polish border for 20 hours and spent 9 hours in a traffic jam near Rivne. The artist described this situation, noting that the jam was caused by a truck that had flipped over, and it took a long time to clear it.

Svetlana noted that after Lviv, it became clear that they were in a difficult situation as the entire Rivne region was covered in snow. She emphasized that even if a person gets stuck in a traffic jam, it's essential to keep going and wait. This journey became not only a physical but also an emotional test for her.

This situation illustrates the difficulties faced by Ukrainians when returning from abroad, especially during the winter season. Snowfalls and traffic jams can significantly complicate travels, which is an important aspect for those planning trips between Ukraine and Europe. Highlighting the emotional aspect of the journey, Svetlana emphasizes the importance of patience and readiness for unforeseen circumstances, which is relevant for many Ukrainians in the current context.
