Growth of used car imports in Ukraine
In November 2025, a significant increase in the import of used passenger cars from the USA, particularly electric vehicles, was observed in Ukraine. A total of 5,500 used cars were imported, which exceeds the results of the same period last year by 2.2 times. The share of electric vehicles among all imported cars is 53%.
The average age of used cars registered in November is 5 years. The most popular models in the electric vehicle segment are:
- TESLA Model Y – 907 units
- TESLA Model 3 – 837 units
- FORD Escape – 355 units
- TESLA Model S – 258 units
- NISSAN Rogue – 258 units
Structure of imported cars by fuel type
The structure of imported cars by fuel type shows the following data:
- electric vehicles – 53%
- gasoline cars – 34%
- hybrids – 8%
- diesel cars – 3%
- cars with LPG – 2%
These figures indicate the growing popularity of electric cars among Ukrainian consumers and a gradual decrease in the share of traditional cars with internal combustion engines.
The increase in the import of used cars, especially electric vehicles, may indicate a change in consumer preferences in Ukraine and contribute to the transition to more environmentally friendly types of transport.
