Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov met with Denmark's Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen and representatives of the Danish Parliament. According to the Defense Ministry, the key topic of discussion was strengthening industrial cooperation between the countries.
'We will launch a major project soon as part of President's initiative Build with Ukraine. This will allow us to scale up the production of Ukrainian weapons on Danish territory and more effectively provide our warriors with everything they need,' Reznikov stated.
According to the Ukrainian Defense Minister, collaboration between the countries started with the 'Danish model' of support, which has been extremely effective. This model has allowed investments in the production of Ukrainian weapons for the needs of the Defense Forces.
Discussion on the Situation at the Front
The parties discussed the situation at the front and key priorities, including strengthening air defense and developing long-range weapons to compel Russia to peace. Reznikov emphasized that the Build with Ukraine initiative will be an important step towards achieving these goals.
'I sincerely thank Mr. Poulsen for this visit on Independence Day. I thank Denmark, its government, and its people for the comprehensive support that strengthens the defense capabilities of Ukraine and Europe,' concluded the Ukrainian Minister.
The Ukrainian Defense Minister met with his Danish colleagues to discuss cooperation in the field of defense and the development of the military-industrial complex. Both sides expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and take significant steps in strengthening defense capabilities.
