The government of Ukraine is preparing to allocate over 52 billion hryvnias to support families with children. According to the Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Families, and Youth of Ukraine Iwona Havronska, the state budget project for 2026 includes an allocation of 52.7 billion hryvnias for these purposes - which is twice as much as in the previous year.
The 'eYasla' program for parents with children
One of the new initiatives in the area of family support will be the 'eYasla' program, which will help parents combine childcare with professional activities. Iwona Havronska emphasized that safety and the future for children are priorities in the development of society. She also noted that quality social projects are an important investment in the nation's future.
