Italy continues to support the development of the Odessa region by allocating 30 million euros for the construction of a new building for the Odessa regional children's hospital. This will help increase the medical capabilities to serve over 260 children at the same time in the region. Recently, grant agreements worth 35.5 million euros were also signed for the restoration of architectural monuments in Odessa and for assistance in the restoration of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral together with UNESCO.

Italy is also investing in the modernization of irrigation systems and supporting energy projects in the region, contributing to improving the living conditions of citizens and the efficiency of Ukraine's energy sector. The partnership with Italy is a key factor in the city's development and in supporting the country's security.
