Ukraine and Italy signed an agreement for a non-repayable loan of 30 million euros for the construction of a new modern building of the regional children's hospital in the Odesa region. This will update the infrastructure and provide the medical facility with modern equipment. This was reported by Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa regional military administration.
The idea of constructing a new hospital building emerged almost two years ago during a working meeting between Ukraine and Italy.
The agreement to provide the loan was signed on December 4 in Kyiv. During the negotiations, all aspects of the future project were considered, all the needs of the medical facility were taken into account, and the scope of work was assessed.
This agreement will be a significant step in improving future children's medicine in the Odesa region, as well as in restoring and modernizing the infrastructure of children's hospitals in Ukraine as a whole.
Ukraine and Italy invested 30 million euros in the new building of the regional children's hospital in the Odesa region, which will significantly improve the conditions for providing medical assistance to children.
