Customized smart glasses Odyssey by Caviar
The Italian jewelry company Caviar has introduced a customized version of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer II smart glasses, called Odyssey. The new collection features two limited models distinguished by the use of elite materials, including 24-carat gold, 925 sterling silver, and crocodile leather. The internal technical components of the glasses remain unchanged, ensuring all functions of the standard version are preserved.
Models of the Odyssey collection
The Odyssey collection consists of two models:
- Odyssey - the standard model that has decorative plates covered with 24-carat gold;
- Odyssey Silver - the model that features 22-carat sterling silver inserts.
The metal accents in both versions are forged, engraved, and polished by hand. The engraving includes Greek motifs, and the glasses’ temples have black enameled star-shaped details. Each version is produced in a limited run of 24 units, symbolizing the 24 books of Homer's 'Odyssey.'
The charging case for these smart glasses is also wrapped in black crocodile leather. The internal fittings of both models are identical to the standard retail version of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer II, allowing for the preservation of all functions such as a camera, speakers, touch control, and voice assistant. The prices for the models are $6130 for the standard Odyssey and $6840 for the Odyssey Silver. Both versions are available for order on the Caviar website.
It is worth noting that earlier, in the spring of 2026, the company Caviar presented the iPhone 17 Pro Max lineup dedicated to Apple's 50th anniversary. The 'Jobs' model in this lineup contained a fragment of Steve Jobs' original black turtleneck, authenticity confirmed by a certificate.
The launch of the new Odyssey smart glasses collection by Caviar demonstrates the growing trend towards luxury technology, combining cutting-edge technology with elite materials. The interest in limited editions and product personalization reflects shifts in consumer preferences, where uniqueness and status become important aspects when choosing goods.
