Israeli military has struck the city in southern Syria again. They attacked Es-Sweida when government troops decided to retreat due to conflicts with local militants. According to the state agency SANA, aviation bombarded the outskirts of the city.

Arab tribes, including Bedouins, opposed the Druze militia in the region due to accusations of cruelty toward the local population. 41 tribes united to liberate Sweida and protect the territorial integrity of Syria.

As a result of the conflict, the militia is retreating and Arab tribes are approaching the city. Israel previously shelled the presidential palace and the general staff of Syria in Damascus.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz showed a video of the reaction of Syrian television to the strikes in Damascus. He stated that the attacks will continue until the Syrian army leaves Sweida. Clashes are also occurring in the region between Bedouins and Druze combatants over the kidnapping of merchants, although government forces are also intervening in the conflict.
