The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved an important regulation regarding the support of individuals awarded the President of Ukraine's 'Cross of Military Merit'. According to the new rules, these individuals will receive a monthly financial support of 1.5 minimum wages, currently amounting to 12,000 UAH.
Payment options for state awards
Moreover, if an individual has multiple state awards, they can choose one payment in the largest amount. For example, the payment amounts for some awards are as follows:
- Order of the 'Golden Star' — 24,000 UAH;
- Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi I–III degrees — 16,000 UAH;
- Orders of 'For Courage' and Princess Olga I–III degrees — 8,000 UAH;
- Award 'Cross of Military Merit' — 12,000 UAH.
This regulation establishes clear conditions and procedures for receiving this support so that everyone who has been awarded a state decoration can benefit from these payments.
