The government has announced the allocation of nearly 150 million hryvnias to compensate residents of the village of Berezyna who were affected by a technological incident last year. The measures to eliminate the consequences will cost approximately 238 million hryvnias, and an additional 90 million hryvnias have been allocated from the regional budget. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized that this is very important for supporting people who have suffered from this tragedy.
The funds will be transferred as a subsidy for payments to the bank accounts of affected residents. Currently, over 300 applications have been submitted, among which 47 households have suffered complete destruction, and 190 houses require restoration. The implementation of this decision will allow for the quick reimbursement of losses and assist the community in recovering.
