The government allocated 1.1 million euros for solar panels in schools: where they will appear

Уряд виділив 1,1 мільйона євро на встановлення сонячних панелей у навчальних закладах: місця впровадження нових технологій.

In Ukraine, 1.1 million euros have been allocated for energy-efficient equipment for eight schools in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Vinnytsia regions. This initiative, in collaboration with the European Investment Bank, is aimed at improving the energy efficiency of social infrastructure, particularly in schools. The funds will be used for the installation of solar panels and heat pumps to reduce utility costs and enhance the resilience of energy supply. This is an important step for the comfort of Ukrainian schoolchildren and the support of the country's energy system.

The program focuses on front-line regions that need support and stability the most. The total budget for the project with the European Investment Bank is 16.5 million euros, which will be received in stages as new projects are approved.
