The government has approved the creation of an electronic Register of gunsmiths - a database of manufacturers and suppliers of goods, works, and services for defense purposes. According to Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, this is one of the steps within the State Anti-Corruption Program and the move towards a digital ecosystem for the needs of the Armed Forces. The goal of creating the Register is to increase transparency and efficiency in defense procurement, avoid risks with unscrupulous suppliers, and stimulate fair competition in the defense sector.

Advantages of the Register:

  • For customers - access to an up-to-date database of suppliers and tools for risk assessment.

  • For manufacturers - transparent conditions for participation in defense procurement.

  • For military and political elites - complete information for decision-making.

The Register operates as a closed system with distributed access rights to minimize risks and ensure data security. This is an important step in the framework of anti-corruption measures in the country.

A decision has also been made to allocate 400 million hryvnias to support individuals released from Russian captivity and their families. These funds will be used for various benefits and to meet basic needs for the released individuals. The contribution to supporting these people at the state level is an important and positive step.
