Disciplinary Proceedings Against Roman Isayenko
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has initiated disciplinary proceedings against Roman Isayenko, the head of the State Drug Service of Ukraine. According to government resolution No. 1477-r, the term of the disciplinary proceedings is set until January 27, 2026.
Reasons for Disciplinary Proceedings
The reasons for initiating disciplinary proceedings are related to Isayenko's activities in the position. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted searches at the headquarters of the State Drug Service. Furthermore, in February 2024, Isayenko became a subject in the Bihus.Info investigation, which may also have influenced the Cabinet's decision.
Roman Isayenko was appointed head of the State Drug Service of Ukraine in 2024. It is worth noting that the laboratory 'Dobrobut-Likilab' started receiving orders from the State Drug Service after its registration, which may indicate certain aspects of the activities during his leadership.
This situation highlights the importance of adhering to standards of transparency and accountability in public administration, especially in such a sensitive area as the regulation of pharmaceuticals and narcotics. The initiation of disciplinary proceedings may have serious consequences for both Isayenko and the reputation of the state service as a whole, especially against the backdrop of ongoing anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine.
