Additionally, NABU and SAPO have brought to court a case involving former heads of a regional commercial court and a former appellate commercial court judge. They stand accused of soliciting illicit payments exceeding one million US dollars from a businessman in return for influencing court verdicts.
Further exposing systemic corruption, NABU and SAPO uncovered a fraudulent operation involving the embezzlement of 90 million hryvnias during drone procurement. This scheme implicated officials from the State Special Communications Service collaborating with private companies, purchasing drones at prices inflated by 70-90% above market value.
