The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved changes to the Regulation on children's and youth sports schools at a meeting on December 24. This initiative aims to make sports institutions more flexible and responsive to the needs of communities and the challenges of today.

  • The changes relate to the formation of the staffing table, determination of the number of coaches-teachers, and qualification requirements for positions.

  • The regulation establishes a minimum number of coaching positions depending on the location of the sports school.

  • The circle of specialists who can be involved in working at children's and youth sports schools has also been expanded.

The updated regulation creates stable conditions for the operation of sports institutions and supports coaches-teachers working with children. This will allow attracting additional personnel, ensuring the continuity of the training process, and increasing opportunities for children to engage in sports.
