Ukrainian singer Kamaliya has announced the death of her cousin Serhiy Kanatnikov-Pryadko, who was serving as a soldier defending Ukraine. Despite suffering severe injuries multiple times, he always found the strength to return to duty. His third return to combat proved fatal, and his family is now preparing to lay him to rest.

She also recalled joyful family moments: 'Less than a year ago, our whole family celebrated the wedding of his cousin Yulia… None of us could have imagined that today we would be bidding Serhiy a final farewell.'
Serhiy fought to defend Ukraine, and his bravery did not go unnoticed. 'He served. He defended Ukraine. He was pulled from the battlefield wounded multiple times, in very serious condition. But he recovered and returned to the front again,' Kamaliya stated.
She emphasized that her family will always remember him: 'Serhiy, our dear one, our pain is beyond words. We will always remember you—strong, courageous, genuine. May you rest in peace. May you find the Kingdom of Heaven.'
