The news reports that a declaration has been signed in Brussels to create a new Ukraine Transport Support Fund (UTSF) to support the restoration and modernization of Ukraine's transport system. The fund is being established within the framework of the Ukraine Transport Interest Group (CIG4U) of the International Transport Forum. Grants for infrastructure projects will be provided across all modes of transport, and other countries will have the opportunity to join and contribute to the Fund at a future High-Level Dialogue.
The establishment of the Fund is considered an important step in the restoration and modernization of Ukraine's transport system. This is not only a political commitment but also a practical tool for implementing real projects on the ground, which will ensure the sustainability and integration of the transport network with Europe.
