Meeting in Barcelona

An important meeting took place in Barcelona between the president of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Salvador Illa, and the mayor of the city, Jaume Collboni. They discussed issues of Ukraine's reconstruction as well as regional cooperation. The participants emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine, which has been ongoing since the beginning of Russian aggression.

During the meeting, Catalonia signed memorandums with three Ukrainian regions: Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Lviv. These memorandums aim to strengthen cooperation between Catalonia and the mentioned regions of Ukraine, highlighting a commitment to developing mutually beneficial relations and supporting the Ukrainian people.

This step underscores the importance of international support in a challenging time for Ukraine and its regions.

International Support for Ukraine

The meeting in Barcelona reflects the growing international support for Ukraine from various regions of the world, especially Europe. The signing of the memorandums indicates Catalonia's intentions not only to provide humanitarian assistance but also to actively cooperate in the processes of reconstruction and development of Ukrainian territories.
