Visit of representatives from Catalonia to Ukraine

The President of the Generalitat of Catalonia Salvador Illa and the Mayor of Barcelona Jaume Collboni made a two-day visit to Ukraine, during which they met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. As a result of the visit, Catalonia signed memorandums of cooperation with Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions. These agreements cover important areas such as:

According to her, these agreements also strengthen the role of Ukrainian regions as full-fledged subjects of European cooperation.
