Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has extended his contract with the club until 2029 after winning the 2026 Ballon d'Or. According to Sky Sport, his annual payments will exceed 30 million euros before taxes, including bonuses. This is reported by Football 24.
Kane's salary at Bayern: what the contract until 2029 entails
Bayern officially announced the extension of the agreement with the 33-year-old England captain on November 5. The contract is valid until June 30, 2029.
According to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Kane has become the highest-paid footballer of the Munich club, surpassing Jamal Musiala. The publication also ranks the Englishman among the top three earners in European football.
The agreement includes bonuses for:
victories in national tournaments;
goals scored and assists;
success in the Champions League;
another Ballon d'Or.
Over 30 million euros a year corresponds to more than 2.5 million euros a month, if the amount is conditionally divided by 12. However, this is not a fixed monthly salary: the total figure includes payments related to sporting achievements.
The club has not disclosed full financial terms. Therefore, as with comparing salaries of players in European clubs, it is important to distinguish between base salary, bonuses, and the amount after tax deductions.
Kane's performance: 156 goals for Bayern as of November 2026
Kane moved to Bayern from Tottenham in the summer of 2023. Since then, the striker has scored 156 goals in 161 official matches for the Munich side. This averages about 0.97 goals per game.
In Germany, the Englishman has won his first team trophies in his professional career. Together with Bayern, he won the national championships in 2025 and 2026, the DFB-Pokal in 2026, and two Super Cups.
The new contract has extended the cooperation between both parties for another two years. For Kane, the agreement is the next step after the Ballon d'Or and previous goal-scoring achievements of the striker in matches for both club and country.
