Additionally, residents can enjoy theater shows, concerts by renowned performers, and stand-up comedy.

Exhibitions

The exhibition 'Peace to Heaven and Earth: Porcelain Symphony of the Tregubov Family' has opened at the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine. It showcases the creative legacy of Mykola, Valentyna, Natalia, and Volodymyr Tregubov, featuring 377 works from the museum's collection and family archives. Mykola Tregubov's 1985 porcelain set 'Peace to Heaven and Earth' is also on display. Mykola Tregubov (1922–2007) was a Honored Artist of Ukraine, recipient of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, and a leading sculptor at the Korosten Porcelain Factory. The exhibition runs until July 12 at the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine, 21 Ivana Mazepy Street, Building 2.

Also in Kyiv is the exhibition 'Kherson. Shovkunenko. Rescued,' presenting works that were not stolen by Russian forces during the occupation of Kherson in 2022. It features nine paintings by Oleksiy Shovkunenko and runs until July 26 at the National Museum 'Kyiv Art Gallery,' 9 Tereshchenkivska Street.

Ivan Marchuk's jubilee exhibition 'I Stirred This World' celebrates the artist's 90th birthday, displaying nearly 250 of his works. It includes a 2003 acrylic portrait of Ukraine's third president, Viktor Yushchenko. The exhibition continues until June 21, 2026, at the Museum of the History of Kyiv, 7 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street.

These cultural events underscore the importance of art in society, especially amid current challenges. In times of war and social change, such gatherings not only preserve cultural heritage but also unite people, offering opportunities to enjoy art and community.

In addition to the vibrant exhibitions highlighted above, there are even more cultural activities taking place in Kyiv this week. For those interested in the art scene, the weekend features a unique opportunity to explore the rescue of Kherson paintings and the celebration of Ivan Marchuk's artistic journey. This promises to be an enriching experience for art lovers and cultural enthusiasts alike.
