On the night of December 6, specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate together with the BO Team carried out a cyberattack on the information and communication infrastructure of the company 'Elttrans+'. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing 'RBK-Ukraine'.

The results of the attack were devastating: 700 computers and servers were damaged, over a thousand users were deleted, and 165 terabytes of important data were destroyed or encrypted. The access control system, video surveillance system, backup, network equipment, core of the data center, as well as all company websites were 'defaced'.

'Elttrans+' is a major logistics operator in Russia, serving thousands of companies. They are engaged in international and domestic transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance. In addition, the cyber unit 'Atesh' launched an attack on a website used for sending draft notices to Russian military personnel.

As a result of the cyberattack, the company 'Elttrans+' suffered serious losses — the damage affects not only them but also their partners and clients. The authorities are responding quickly to the event, but the consequences may impact the customs, logistics, and transportation sectors in Russia.
