Kyiv to Host 'Ukrainian Destinations' Tourism Forum

The State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Tourism and Promotion Department of the Kyiv City State Administration have jointly announced a forum titled "Ukrainian Destinations: Transformation of Cities and Regions." Scheduled for April 2, 2026, in Kyiv, the event aims to coordinate efforts in creating a sustainable, safe, and meaningful tourism offering as the industry recovers. As Ukraine works to revive its travel sector, this forum represents a key collaborative step forward.

Discussion Themes and Workshop Sessions

Strategic approaches to tourism recovery, community case studies, and interregional cooperation for promoting travel itineraries will be central topics. A highlight of the event is a practical "world cafe" workshop where participants will collaborate on drafting Ukraine’s Top 10 tourist routes for the 2026 season.

Applications to attend are being accepted until March 27, 2026. Representatives from tourism departments, clusters, and associations are invited to join conversations shaping the future of Ukraine’s travel industry. The registration form is available at the address provided in the announcement.

This forum is a crucial initiative aimed not only at rebuilding Ukraine's tourism infrastructure but also at drawing attention to regional distinctiveness and cultural heritage.

Involving a wide range of stakeholders in such an event can significantly boost the development of new tourism products and itineraries, which in turn will positively impact regional economies. The outcomes of the forum may lay the groundwork for Ukraine’s tourism strategy in the coming years.
