Capital 'Kyiv-Basket' announced the signing of a contract for the next season with 19-year-old Bohdan Malich. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' referring to the FBU.
Bohdan is a graduate of the Dnipro Sports School SDYUSHOR-5. In 2022, he left Ukraine for Latvia. In the last season, he played for the Bertans brothers' school from Latvian Valmiera.
Bohdan Malich is known to Ukrainian fans for finishing fourth in the 3x3 basketball World Championship in 2024 with future Kyiv-Basket teammates Yegor Sushkin and Bohdan Bur, and reaching the quarter-finals of the European Youth Olympic Festival in 2023 as part of the youth 3x3 national team.
