Kyiv without heat: 500 high-rise buildings may remain without heating due to the consequences of shelling
The situation with heating supply in Kyiv is critical after the Russian shelling, which led to a shortage of electricity and heating problems in high-rise buildings. Currently, about 500 high-rise buildings are without heat. People's Deputy Bohdan Kytak expressed concern about possible scenarios, including the evacuation of residents.
Consequences of shelling and energy-saving measures
Since January 13, all regions of Ukraine have implemented schedules for hourly electricity outages, as well as power limitation schedules for industrial consumers. These measures were introduced due to the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities. In the capital, the movement of all ground electric transport on the Right Bank has been temporarily suspended.

He hopes that during the meeting scheduled for tomorrow, specific decisions will be made and funds will be allocated to prepare for possible issues that may deepen in the current crisis. The situation remains complicated, and residents of the capital are waiting for prompt actions from the authorities.
The critical situation with heating supply in Kyiv highlights the importance of stable operation of energy infrastructure, especially during the winter period when heat is essential for the well-being of city residents. Given the implemented electricity outage schedules and concerns about possible escalations, local authorities must take urgent measures to restore heating supply and prevent further crisis situations.
