Kyiv invites residents and visitors to a vibrant array of cultural events this weekend. The schedule is packed with exhibitions, theatrical performances, concerts, and stand-up comedy, promising a rich blend of art and entertainment. This showcases the city's dynamic cultural scene as it continues to thrive.

Exhibitions

The Museum of the History of Kyiv is hosting the exhibition 'Signs of Identity' from February 1 to 8. The display features 30 embroidered towels created by Ukrainians from 22 different countries on August 24, 2025. It is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street, 7, 3rd floor.

  • Another exhibition, 'People / Adamianebi' by artist Temo Svireli, began on February 3 at the National Museum 'Kyiv Art Gallery'. It will run until March 8 and is located at Tereshchenkivska Street, 9.
  • Also at the Museum of the History of Kyiv, the exhibition 'Return of Memory. The Kherson Collection' has launched. This joint project with the Kherson Art Museum and Vivid Fusion Art presents 30 art prints and will be on view from February 4 to March 1 at Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street, 7, 1st floor.

Theatrical Performances

Theater lovers can attend the musical 'Chicago' on February 7 and 8 at 6:00 PM at the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theatre (53/3 Velyka Vasylkivska Street). Several other plays are scheduled for Saturday, February 7, at 6:00 PM:

  • 'Be Healthy, Monsieur!' at the House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (30/1 Mykhaila Hrushevskoho Street)
  • 'The Father' at the Kyiv Academic Drama and Comedy Theatre on the Left Bank of the Dnipro (25 Brovarskyi Avenue)
  • 'My Wife's Husband' at the House of Cinema (6 Saksahanskoho Street)
  • 'The File' at the Young Theatre (17 Proryzna Street)

On Sunday, February 8, at 6:00 PM, the performance 'I See You Are Interested in Darkness' will take place at the MCCM (1 Alleya Heroiv Nebesnoi Sotni). This is a co-production of the 'Wild Theatre' and the Maria Zankovetska National Theatre.

Concerts and Stand-Up Comedy

The weekend's concert lineup features notable events. A concert by Dorofeeva is set for February 7 at 7:00 PM at Osocor Residence (2 Vynohradna Street). On February 8, guests can enjoy 'Bridgerton: A Luxurious Evening of Music by Candlelight' at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM at 'KultMotiv' (36/31 Spaska Street).

Furthermore, stand-up comedy fans can attend 'Saturday Stand-Up' on February 7 at 7:00 PM at DoskaBar (21 Proryzna Street), featuring Svitlana Nemonezhyna, Natali Skoryk, and Arsen Puchkov, hosted by Valentyn Peruz. 'Sunday Stand-Up' will follow on February 8 at 6:30 PM at Bochka Pub (19A Khreshchatyk Street), with performers Andrii Berezhko, Mark Svyrydiuk, Ruslan Kolesnyk, and Bohdan Boyaryn, hosted by Yevhen Leshchenko.

Additionally, on Saturday, February 7, at 1:00 PM, the event 'Circus in Minecraft Style' will be held at Halytska (Peremohy) Square, 2. This weekend in Kyiv promises a diverse cultural program to suit a wide range of tastes and interests.
