Kyiv Implements Temporary Electricity Schedules: How to Check Yours

Київ вводить графіки електропостачання: як дізнатися свій тарифний план.

Kyiv Introduces Temporary Power Supply Schedules

Kyiv has implemented temporary electricity supply schedules, effective from midnight, replacing emergency blackouts. The schedules are being provided by the company DTEK. These schedules will be unique to each individual building and can be checked using the DTEK chatbot on Telegram or on the company's official website.

The situation in Ukraine's energy grid remains precarious due to the ongoing war. Due to high system load, there may be delays of up to 5 minutes in updating the schedule information. Furthermore, during the initial days of the new schedules, adjustments and inaccuracies are possible. This is because the capital remains at risk of new Russian missile and drone attacks, and a drop in temperature is also expected. A spokesperson for the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) had previously stated that Kyiv might soon return to scheduled power outages.

Unique Schedules for Every Building

The electricity supply schedules will differ by district and will not be linked to the familiar queue groups (like 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, etc.). Each building will receive a unique schedule, which should allow residents to better plan their daily activities under limited power supply conditions. To obtain the most current information, residents are advised to use the DTEK chatbot on Telegram or visit the company's official website.

The introduction of these new schedules in Kyiv is a response to the complex energy situation caused by the war and increasing strain on the national grid. The individualized schedules for each building are intended to help residents minimize inconvenience and better organize their daily lives amidst the restrictions. It is crucial for residents to monitor any changes to the schedules and stay informed with the latest updates to plan their activities effectively.
