Київ оголосив про закриття ряду вулиць через потужний ракетний удар з РФ.

Kyiv Under Attack: July 6 Assault

A large-scale Russian bombardment targeted Kyiv overnight on July 6, resulting in casualties and injuries. To protect residents, the capital’s police have temporarily blocked traffic on several roads. Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, announced the closures and urged locals to factor them into their travel plans.

Traffic Restrictions in Place

Vehicle movement is currently suspended on the following streets:

  • Urlivska Street (from Zdolbunivska Street to the intersection with Anna Akhmatova Street)
  • Svitlytskoho Street (from the intersection with Svobody Avenue heading toward Vasyl Poryk Avenue)
  • Kurenivska Street (from the intersection with Kyrylivska Street heading toward Semen Sklyarenko Street)

Air quality across the city has also deteriorated, adding to public concern.

In the Kyiv region, the Vyshneve urban community has urged residents to stay indoors due to the risk of secondary detonations from explosive debris. The situation has sparked serious worry among the population, who are advised to follow official safety recommendations.

This attack underscores the intensification of military hostilities in the area and their direct impact on civilians.

Calls for caution and traffic restrictions highlight the gravity of the situation and the need to adhere to safety measures. Authorities continue to take every possible step to protect citizens and prevent further casualties amid these crisis conditions.

The recent escalation of hostilities in Kyiv is not an isolated incident. A similar attack on June 15 resulted in significant road closures as authorities sought to ensure public safety.
