In Kyiv, after the shelling, more than 10 residential apartment buildings and private houses were damaged. Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and Head of the State Emergency Service Andrii Danyk heard reports on emergency rescue work, during which nearly 70 elderly people from a nursing home in the Darnytskyi district were rescued.

Emergency rescue operations

In the Dniprovskiy district, work is ongoing by the special unit 'Delta', which is conducting high-altitude work to dismantle emergency structures. Heating points have been deployed at the impact sites, and investigative and mobile groups from the State Emergency Service are working to provide assistance to the affected.

Ihor Klymenko also emphasized that the police have deployed units that will operate around the clock to protect citizens' property.
