Emergency power outages in Kyiv and region
In Kyiv and part of the Kyiv region, emergency power outages have been introduced due to a critical situation in the energy system. Previously published outage schedules have been temporarily canceled. The reasons for the limitations include the consequences of missile-drone attacks, as well as severe frosts and bad weather that have affected the stability of electricity supply.
Energy workers are actively working on restoring stable electricity supply. Emergency outages will only be canceled after the situation in the energy system stabilizes. The press service of Ukrenergo noted that previously published distribution system operator outage schedules in Kyiv and the region are currently not in effect.

Energy-saving measures
In the context of the ongoing energy crisis in Ukraine, the situation in Kyiv and the region reflects the overall challenges faced by the country. Deteriorating weather conditions and the consequences of hostile attacks on energy infrastructure significantly complicate the situation. It is essential for consumers to understand the necessity of using electricity sparingly, as this can help maintain the stability of the energy system and reduce the load on the network.
