Kyiv metro operates in special mode: train intervals due to prolonged alert

Метро Києва працює в особливому режимі: зміни у графіку через тривогу.

Kyiv Metro and Air Alert

The Kyiv metro is operating in a special mode due to a prolonged air alert that has been ongoing since the night. The time of the alert was recorded at 04:15. As a result, the intervals of train movements have been changed.

Train Movement Intervals

Currently, 46 underground stations are functioning in the metro. The intervals of train movements on different lines are as follows:

  • Red Line: 4 minutes 30 seconds
  • Blue Line: 4 minutes 15 seconds
  • Green Line (Syrets - Vydubychi section): 7 minutes 30 seconds
  • Osokorky - Chervony Khutir section: 4 minutes 30 seconds

Metro users are advised to be cautious and monitor information about changes in the schedule during the alert period.

Prolonged air alerts in Kyiv indicate a tense security situation in the region. The Kyiv metro, as one of the main modes of transport in the city, is adapting to this situation, ensuring safe passage for passengers. Providing information support for citizens is also crucial so they can respond promptly to changes in the movement schedule and adhere to safety measures.
