Russian troops struck Lozova, resulting in two deaths and 13 injuries. Among the injured are two teenagers - a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. As a result of the shelling, a 60-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman died, who passed away in the hospital from her injuries. Law enforcement agencies have initiated a preliminary investigation regarding this incident in accordance with Ukraine's law on war crimes.
In addition to the human casualties, the strikes also caused significant damage to the city's civilian infrastructure. The overall list of damages includes the railway station, a traction substation, and a locomotive depot. Six facilities caught fire due to the explosions, while the interruption of essential power supply services became a serious issue. However, power supply has been restored with priority given to the city's critical infrastructure.
