Kim Jong Un 'mourned' North Korean soldiers who died in the war against Ukraine

A concert was held in Pyongyang to commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between North Korea and the Russian Federation. The event introduced a special guest - the Minister of Culture of Russia, Olga Lyubimova. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un also participated in the concert.



During the concert, a large screen showcased photos of North Korean soldiers alongside Russian occupiers. One of the images depicted a blood-soaked notebook with the words: 'The decisive moment has finally arrived. Let us bravely fight in this holy battle with the boundless love and trust bestowed upon us by our beloved Supreme Commander.'


The audience was also shown photographs from the ceremony of returning the remains of North Korean soldiers who died in the Kursk region of Russia. One of the images captures the moment when Kim Jong Un places the flag of North Korea on the coffin lid, evoking tears from the attendees.



North Korea may send additional troops to Russia to fight against Ukraine


According to South Korean lawmakers, North Korean intelligence is monitoring Russia's preparations for a new offensive against Ukraine in the summer. Intelligence noted new mobilization in North Korea to be sent to Russia, as well as visits by high-ranking officials of the Russian security service to Pyongyang.


Additionally, agreements to create strike drones of the 'Shahed' type in North Korea provide opportunities for both countries to strike targets in South Korea and support Russia's war against Ukraine.

Leaders from both countries were present at the event, and photos shown sparked controversy and outrage in the international community. Furthermore, according to intelligence, new North Korean forces may arrive in Russia to support the war against Ukraine.
