Meeting on corruption and desertion
The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov held a meeting with the top command of the Armed Forces and heads of law enforcement agencies, where the problems of corruption in the mobilization system and cases of unauthorized abandonment of units were discussed. Representatives of the General Staff, Ground Forces, and Military Law Enforcement Service participated in the meeting.
The problems of corruption arising in the work of Territorial Recruitment Centers, as well as facts of desertion, have a serious impact on the state's defense capability. Kyrylo Budanov noted that abuses of official duties and undermining military discipline are unacceptable. In this regard, a detailed study of the issues has begun to prepare appropriate solutions.

Discussing the issues of corruption and desertion in the Ukrainian Armed Forces is extremely important in the context of the current security situation in the country.
