AGIBOT Achieves Guinness World Record
On October 24th, at the Yellow River International Conference and Exhibition Center in Shandong Province, Chinese robotics firm AGIBOT made history by orchestrating a synchronized dance involving 110 humanoid robots. The Expedition A3 models performed complex group choreography, executing jumps and coordinated position changes to create wave-like patterns and form the number 2026. This milestone marks a significant advancement in robotics, showcasing the precision and coordination possible with modern technology.
The feat was officially recognized by a Guinness World Records adjudicator, who presented an official certificate. Notably, all 110 robots were standard production models rather than specially customized units. The movements were controlled through the LinkBots platform, which enabled centralized command and task distribution. This system relies on ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to achieve positioning accuracy within a few centimeters. Commands were delivered via 5G and Wi-Fi networks, highlighting the integration of cutting-edge communication technologies in robotics coordination.
AGIBOT’s Competitive Edge
AGIBOT has also demonstrated its technological prowess in international competitions. In August, the company took part in the World Humanoid Robot Games, where its robots earned a total of 46 medals, including 18 golds. Their machines competed across multiple events such as:
- Athletics
- Object manipulation
- Hospitality services
- Emergency response tasks
This impressive medal haul reflects AGIBOT’s leadership in humanoid robotics development and their commitment to advancing robot capabilities.
Setting this Guinness World Record not only demonstrates the remarkable control and efficiency of AGIBOT’s robotic systems but also signals new opportunities for robotics innovation. Such breakthroughs could attract increased investment and accelerate the development of robots capable of handling complex tasks across various industries. AGIBOT’s active participation in global competitions underscores the growing competitiveness in robotics and the vital need for innovative solutions to stay at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field.
