Ukrainians purchased 3,908 passenger cars from China, which is 4.8 times higher than the figures for the same period last year. This indicates a growing interest in new cars produced in China.
The demand for new cars from China increased by 368%, totaling 3,269 units. At the same time, the market for used cars also showed impressive results, rising by 415%, with sales of 639 units. The growth in sales of Chinese cars in Ukraine may be associated with the development of infrastructure for electric vehicles and the reduction of prices for electric models. This phenomenon also reflects a global trend towards transitioning to more environmentally friendly modes of transport, which is becoming increasingly relevant in the context of climate change and rising demands for reducing CO2 emissions. Chinese manufacturers, in particular, are actively implementing new technologies and models, contributing to increased competitiveness in the Ukrainian market.
