Кличко розповів про знесення тимчасових споруд у столиці: які об'єкти підлягають ліквідації та їхні причини.

Demolition of temporary structures in Kyiv

Demolition activities are ongoing in Kyiv for temporary structures that were installed in violation of landscaping regulations. The operations cover the central part of the city, including Independence Square and Zodchikh Street. On December 3, 2023, temporary constructions that did not meet the established requirements were demolished at Zodchikh Street, 52.

Additionally, a temporary structure on Khreshchatyk Street was removed after its permit expiration. This structure was established back on July 29, 2009. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klychko, 12 rental agreements for five years have already been signed concerning objects in the Pechersk district. The highest monthly rental cost is UAH 203,000 without VAT for the location on Bastian Street.

Strategy for improving landscaping

The demolition of temporary structures in the central districts of Kyiv is part of a broader strategy by the city authorities aimed at improving landscaping and the aesthetics of the city. The implementation of new archetypes for temporary constructions is intended to create a harmonious urban environment that meets modern standards. This may also indicate the authorities' readiness to respond to violations and ensure order in the use of urban space.
