Refutation of vacation information
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klychko, refuted the information about his vacation spread by Member of Parliament Maryana Bezuhla. Klychko noted that he is currently actively engaged in resolving issues related to the lack of heating in 6 thousand apartment buildings in the capital. The reason for this was a massive combined strike by the Russian Federation on critical infrastructure facilities that occurred on the night of January 9.
Klychko and Kucherena's comments
Vitali Klychko commented on the situation, stating:
“Bezuhla sent him on 'vacation'”He also emphasized that he does not understand why false information is being spread, noting:
“Thank you, of course, but why write lies”.
Oleksiy Kucherena, a member of parliament and the first deputy head of the committee of the council on energy and housing and communal services issues, noted that in many areas of Kyiv, utilities received an order to drain water from internal building systems. This is part of measures aimed at restoring heating and reducing risks for the city's residents in critical situations.
This situation highlights the importance of communication between public officials and society, especially in crisis situations when information can influence public mood and trust. It also draws attention to the current issues of energy security and heating supply in the capital, which remain important concerns for Kyiv residents during the winter period.
