On Friday, October 24, the leaders of the Coalition of Willing plan to discuss increasing pressure on Russia and ensuring security for Ukraine during a meeting chaired by the President of France and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
'First of all, together with 35 coalition members, we will formulate our plan for further pressure on Russia and support for Ukraine, taking into account the results of President Zelensky's recent visit to Washington,'- emphasized the interlocutor.
The meeting will be a logical continuation of the summit that took place in Paris on September 4, and will also summarize the outcomes of the European Council meeting that will take place the day before in Brussels. The main topics of discussion will be security guarantees for Ukraine and the deployment of multinational forces.
The coalition will also pay attention to the fight against Russia's 'shadow fleet.' This issue is being considered in the relevant context and in formats of cooperation with France's partners from NB8. A meeting at the level of chiefs of staff has already taken place to discuss the military aspect of combating the 'shadow fleet.'
Participants in the meeting will discuss the plan for further pressure on Russia, security guarantees for Ukraine, and the fight against Russia's 'shadow fleet.' Important meetings and discussions at the international level aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region are ahead.
