Collapse in Russian airports: nearly 100 flights canceled due to drone threats

A real neglect has occurred in Russian airports due to the threat of drone attacks. In Moscow and St. Petersburg alone, nearly a hundred flights have been canceled, and several hundred have been rescheduled. This is reported by 'Glavkom', citing Russian Telegram channels.



According to journalists' data, the most complicated situation has arisen at Sheremetyevo airport near Moscow. Over 170 flights have been delayed there, and nearly 50 have been canceled.


Baza reports that the 'worst' situation is at Sheremetyevo airport near Moscow.


As a result, a crowd has accumulated at the airport, and passengers cannot move freely. People are sitting and lying on the floor, as there are no free seats even in cafes and business lounges. Moreover, passengers are not being allowed to exit the aircraft.



Delays and cancellations have also been recorded at other airports, such as Pulkovo in St. Petersburg, as well as in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and other cities in Russia.
