Ukrainian investigator Mariyana Chechelyuk, who spent 25 months in captivity in Olenivka, shared horrific memories of the betrayal she experienced while imprisoned. One night, she was called into an office where her true identity and connections with the military, which she had concealed, were discovered. This information proved critically important as Mariyana tried to play the role of a civilian.

“I walk in there and realize that there are about 15-20 people in this office, for sure. There was a very low stool standing in the corner. They tell me: 'Against the wall, sit down.' I sit down. And he tells me: 'Mariyashka, you’ve f**ked us over.' He says: 'Do you know what? I have something for you.' And he brings the phone to my ear.

The phone call exposed Mariyana, and it turned out that someone had leaked information about her. After 25 months of captivity, Mariyana was freed, and she shared her shocking impressions.
