Former Head of the State Judicial Administration Salknikov Begins Serving Sentence for Influence on Judges

Verdict against Oleksii Salknikov

Former Head of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine Oleksii Salknikov has begun serving his sentence following the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC). According to the court's decision, Salknikov was found guilty of receiving unlawful benefits for influencing judges of the Supreme Court. The crime he committed is punishable under part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Salknikov began serving his sentence on August 6, 2025. The ruling of the Appeal Chamber of HACC upheld the verdict on December 2, 2025. On December 17, 2025, Salknikov was placed in the State Institution 'Kyiv Detention Center'. He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. Furthermore, Salknikov was also deprived of the right to hold positions in public authorities and local self-government for a period of three years.
