Preliminary investigation completed regarding the former head of the TCC and SP
As reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, the preliminary investigation into the case of the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support has been completed.
According to information from the Office, he is charged with obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, organizing the forgery of official documents, and using forged documents (Articles 27, 366, 114-1, 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Defense representatives have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the materials of the case according to established procedures.
'Based on the investigation, it has been established that the suspect, together with other individuals, attempted to introduce false data into official documents regarding his own injury, received in the premises of the Odesa military-civil administration, related to his duties to defend the country. These falsified data were used to create incorrect documents - an order on the results of the service investigation and a medical certificate about the conditions of the injury,' the prosecution noted.
After that, the former head used forged documents to hinder the work of the Military Medical Commission and military medics in the Southern region. His actions obstructed military support, personnel training, and medical assistance to the personnel and veterans.
As a result of the preliminary investigation, violations have been identified that posed a threat to national security and the effectiveness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
